Custom Rod Laser Modules
For water cooled applications, CEO designs custom rod based laser modules. These purpose designed laser modules can be configured with multiple discreet cooling channels allowing for coolant at one temperature to flow to the pump diode arrays while coolant at another temperature flows to the laser rod. This allows for thermal tuning of the gain material without affecting the efficiency or pump wavelength of the laser diodes. These laser modules can also be designed and built using materials such as titanium for lighter weight, which is important for some airborne applications.
