The Contract Optical Design and Manufacturing group has manufactured precision electro optical systems and subsystems for more than three decades. It has designed and produced a variety of laser beam delivery and conditioning modules for semiconductor lithography tools working at multiple ultraviolet (UV) wavelengths. With minimal down time, these systems are designed to achieve exceptional beam quality and reliability.

Engineering and Manufacturing Facilities
AOA Xinetics’ Contract Optical Design & Manufacturing group’s facilities are in Cambridge, Massachusetts and East Hartford, Connecticut. Its flagship facility is a custom constructed, 76,000 square foot facility in Cambridge, Massachusetts. It houses AOA Xinetics’ Contract Optical Design and Manufacturing group’s engineering development team and includes 10,000 square feet of Class 10,000 clean room space plus an additional 10,000 square feet of industrial production space. In addition to this space there are clean tent systems with laminar flow through HEPA filters. These tents provide 3,500 square feet of Class 1000 workspace. Within the tents, are laminar flow benches which provide Class 100 workspace.
